The purpose of the assessment has been to investigate and identify gaps and provide recommendations on how to improve access to nutrition services as well as to ensure the quality of nutrition service provision at the community level. Findings from the literature review and field visit to Bolikhan District in Bolikhamxay Province are to a great extent similar and reinforce each other.
