On 28 February 2025, the Policy Analysis Unit (PAU) organized a technical meeting at the Lao Academy of Social and Economic Sciences (LASES), Chaired by Dr. Vilayvone Phommachanh, Deputy Director of the Socio-Economic Policy Research Institute (SPRI).
There were 17 participants (6 females) from key ministries such as Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Ministry of Education and Sports, and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Participants were both in person and online.
The topics presented at the PAU bi-monthly technical meeting on February 28, 2025 were as follows:
- Progress Report in 2024 and Annual Plan for 2025
- Reflection of Intensive Capacity Building for central and sub-national levels
- Sustainability Plan for NIPN and key messages from the NIPN Advisory Board Meeting and
- Updated of the preparation for the 10th National Nutrition Forum to be held on 18th
In addition, there was an open and constructive discussion to provide direct feedback on each presentation.
