The bi-monthly technical meeting of the Data Analysis Unit (DAU) was held at the Ministry of Finance’s meeting room to follow up on and report the progress of the National Information Platforms for Nutrition (NIPN) project for the third quarter of 2025. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Sitthiroth Rasphone, Director General of the Economic and Fiscal Policy Department and Head of the Data analysis Unit. Participants included members from the DAU team, representatives from UNICEF, and policy analysis units.

During the meeting, participants discussed various important topics, starting with a report on the progress of the DAU implementation for the third quarter of 2025. The report highlighted key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned. Additionally, the meeting introduced work plans for the fourth quarter to prepare for the final quarter of the year. Furthermore, a presentation was given on the revision of the data analysis unit’s structure and framework, which has been recently updated to ensure more efficient operations in the future.

In addition to progress reports, the meeting also revisited the capacity-building strategies for both central and local teams to enhance staff competencies at every level of the project. The meeting also presented online dashboard for six target provinces. This tool will improve monitoring at the provincial level, facilitating decision-making based on more efficient and timely data.

The meeting also introduced research topics for 2025 to gather input and recommendations from participants. Those topics were selected based on consultations with various sectors in the previous year. The final research topics are expected to be introduced at an upcoming meeting in the near future.
