National Information Platforms for Nutrition

The compilation of agriculture data is the major activity of the Government of Lao PDR, providing nationwide information on agriculture, particularly crop production, livestock/poultry, and food security. The Agriculture Census is conducted every ten-years interval. The national-wide data on this page is extracted from the third Agriculture Census carried out in 2019/20 by the Lao Statistics Bureau, the Ministry of Planning and Investment in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and other related stakeholders.
