The overall goal of the National Plan of Action on Nutrition 2021-2025 (NPAN) is to reduce malnutrition among women and children and improve the nutritional status of all Lao people so that they are healthy and have a high quality of life, thus contributing to the achievement of national socio-economic development. The table below profiles the trend of eight core nutrition indicators against the National target for 2025. The national and provincial data for these indicators are sourced from the Lao Social Indicator Survey (2012, 2017, 2022) and the Lao food and nutrition security survey (2015).
