The National Information Platforms for Nutrition (NIPN) Project officially launched a Training of Trainers (TOT) on the topic “Nutrition Data Analysis for Policy Making” for the project team at the provincial level. The training took place from November 3 to 7, 2025, over five full days, with participants from relevant departments of the six target provinces: Phongsaly, Oudomxay, Khammouane, Savannakhet, Saravan, and Sekong.
The opening ceremony of the training was chaired by Dr. Sengphaivanh Sengaphone, Deputy Director of the Department of Economic and Fiscal Policy, who represented the NIPN Project Committee. She emphasized that capacity building, particularly in statistics and data analysis at the provincial level, is a top priority of the NIPNProject. The purpose of this training is to enhance the participants’ knowledge, enabling them to become trainers who can implement and transfer the knowledge gained to their respective sectors in their provinces. This aligns with the project’s sustainability plan.

After completing the five-day training, a certificate ceremony was held to recognize the participants’ achievement as trainers (TOT) in nutrition data analysis. This certification is a crucial step in ensuring the continued transfer of knowledge, which will soon take place in their respective provinces, conducted by the trainers who participated in this training.
