NIPN advisory board meeting for 2023

On the 8th of January 2024, a meeting of the NIPN Advisory board was convened. The chair of the meeting was H.E. Dr. Sthabandith Insixiengmai, the Vice Minister of MPI and the Chair of the NIPN Advisory Committee, The meeting served as a platform for the Data and Policy Analysis Units to present their progress reports on the activities carried out in 2023. Representatives from the six provinces implementing NIPN at the subnational level also participated in this meeting. The main focus of the meeting was the strategic directions of the committee on certain activities and the solutions proposed for some of the challenges hindering the program’s implementation, as well as the activity plan for 2024/25. This half-day meeting took place at the Settha Palace Hotel in Vientiane capital.
