A three days training on Nutrition Policy Question Formulation took place 14 – 16 December 2020 in Vang Vieng. The objective of the training was to introduce the participants to the approach and process when formulating nutrition policy questions, how to formulate nutrition policy questions, finding the right entry point, and use of available data.

Participants were key members of the Policy analysis unit and stakeholders from line ministries engaged in nutrition-related interventions.

The training is part of the capacity need assessment, which was conducted among key stakeholders involved in NIPN in Lao PDR. As a result of the capacity need assessment, the capacity development plan of action developed. Implementation of the capacity development plan of action is one of the main priorities of the NIPN initiative in Lao PDR.
