Despite impressive gains in economic growth over the past decades and improvements in nutrition, Lao PDR has one of the highest rates of chronic malnutrition in Southeast Asia. This brief highlights findings from a “Qualitative assessment on the determinants of malnutrition in Lao PDR – Focus on Phongsaly, Houaphanh, Bokeo and Saravane Provinces.”
